How to Get Involved

Since the Clinic was founded in 1997 by Professor Emeritus Thomas Reed, we have represented hundreds of veterans in the region, helping our clients recover more than $13 million in back benefits.

Volunteer Attorneys — The Clinic trains and supervises volunteer attorneys from the community. If you are interested in representing a veteran before the Department of Veterans Affairs or before a discharge review board, please reach out to us so we can discuss how to get involved with this rewarding work.

Donate — As a nonprofit, pro bono legal clinic, we do not charge clients for our work. We rely on a variety of sources for funding, including donations from the community. One of our biggest costs is hiring private medical practitioners to conduct independent medical examinations. If you would like to contribute to the Clinic, please know that your donation is directly helping our nation’s veterans.
