Tuition Costs:

Legal Studies Program: $499 per credit (as of July 1, 2019)

Bachelor’s Degree = 120 credits (Legal Studies and Extended Learning Courses)
Associate’s Degree = 60 credits (Legal Studies and Extended Learning Courses)
Certificate Program = 24 credits (Legal Studies Courses)

Methods of Payment: Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards are aceepted for tuition payments.Widener offers payment plans to cover out-of-pocket expenses. For additional information, please contact the Bursar’s Office at 302-477-2181.

Financial Aid: Students interested in Financial Aid should take a look at the financial aid process for information on types of financial aid available, application process and procedures - or you may contact the Financial Aid Office at 302-477-2272.

Financial Obligation:Diplomas, certificates of completion, and transcripts will not be granted unless all financial obligations have been met.

Fees: Specified fees are required at designated times during the application and admission process and must be paid at the times requested. Failure to do so will jeopardize an applicant’s admission status and may result in forfeiture of the School’s offer for admission. Fees are subject to change without notice. Refer to website for any revisions.

Withdrawal and Adjustment Charges All Semesters Withdrawal and Adjustment Charges (Applies to any semester): In the case of withdrawal from a course after the drop/add time period, the student is responsible for full tuition charged for that course.  A student who withdraws from the University after the drop/add time period will be charged according to the University’s Complete Withdrawal Policy, which can be found in the Tuition Rate and Payment Guides.
