Director of Admissions Carly Gardner Honored

Carly Gardner, Director of Admissions at Delaware Law and an alumna from the Class of 2014 was recently spotlighted for her work as a volunteer attorney with the non-profit organization Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia.  They provide legal assistance and social service advocacy for children who are abused and neglected.  Carly often attends court review hearings to provide the court with the organization’s progress and to advocate for additional resources, support, and outcomes.  She has volunteered with the organization since 2016. 

When asked about her clients, Carly said, “My Child Advocates clients have taught me so much about resilience and are a constant source of inspiration. These children and their stories are why I continue to serve as a child advocate attorney. The children I represent are why I continue to do this work; my Child Advocates colleagues are how I continue to do this work. My Child Advocates teammates – child advocate social workers, attorneys, and staff – make it possible for me to make a difference.”
