Delaware Law School graduate will clerk for two prestigious courts from 2020-2022

Shella BorovinskayaShella Borovinskaya, a graduate of Delaware Law School’s Class of 2020, will be a law clerk for The Honorable James F. Hyland of the New Jersey Superior Court from 2020 to 2021, following which she we will be a law clerk for The Honorable Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware until 2022. 

Shella was the 2019 recipient of The Honorable Thomas L. Ambro Fellowship, a prestigious fellowship awarded each year to a student applicant chosen from law schools nationwide.  The Ambro Fellowship is an eight-week summer internship with the judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware funded by the Delaware Bankruptcy Inn of Court.  Shella also is a member of the Delaware Bankruptcy Inn of Court and IWIRC (the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation).   

At Widener University Delaware Law School, Shella received the 2019 President’s Award for High Legal Achievement and Future Potential in the Legal Profession, and was Vice President and New Member Chair of the Moot Court Honor Society.  She is a graduate of Montclair State University, where she majored in Justice Studies with a Concentration in Justice Systems.
