Last week, Delaware Law welcomed 244 new full- and part-time JD students to campus for Orientation. Hailing from across the country and abroad, they have various academic and professional backgrounds.
From the first steps into the classroom or clinics to figuring out the best study skills, the return to school marks the beginning of many opportunities. Students are ready for hard work and long hours as they create their own paths to success.
Delaware Law School is delighted to welcome three new full-time faculty members this summer who will be both educators and scholars, shaping our transformative legal education. We also welcome our new associate director of Alumni Engagement, who started in May.

Our 2023 graduates will hear from U.S. Magistrate Judge Scott W. Reid ’02, who serves on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
First-year law student Natalie Zisa has turned her passion for animal advocacy into national-level recognition for her legislative drafting and lobbying skills. Zisa pursued the National Animal Law Competition on her own and prevailed in the rigorous spring event.
