The Legal Studies student body mainly consists of students from Delaware, Philadelphia and Philly suburbs, New Jersey, and Maryland. Delaware Law’s Legal Studies program has a reputation for excellence, with Legal Studies graduates working throughout the greater Philadelphia region and beyond.
The American Bar Association is the foremost association for legal professionals and law-based academic programs. The Legal Studies Program strictly adheres to the standards and requirements of the ABA for excellence in undergraduate legal education. Legal Studies is also affiliated with Widener University Delaware Law School. Legal Studies students have access to the vast resources of the Delaware Law Library.
Superior career advising services are offered to Legal Studies students and graduates at Widener University's Delaware Law School Career Development Office. Each of the career counselors at the Career Development Office is a licensed attorney who works full time with students and graduates of the Legal Studies Office on resume building, networking, cover letter writing, interviewing and career development.
