“By aligning the Introduction to Court Interpreting Program with a State Court Interpreter Certification Program, this program aims to attract strong candidates who are motivated and dedicated to becoming a state-certified, professional court interpreter.

The close alignment is intended to garner more confidence in students by allowing them to feel as if they are being prepared for each stage specifically while working on developing all aspects of being a court interpreter at the same time.”

-Nanme Zheng, graduate of the Language of Justice Institute
