The Pardon Clinic was my most client-centered law school experience. From reviewing records to drafting petitions, the focus remains entirely on the client—helping them tell their story in the most persuasive way possible. Few academic opportunities allow you to simultaneously leverage legal analysis and interpersonal skills while challenging your creativity. It is an invaluable experience that prepares you to continue serving the community through pro bono work as a practitioner, regardless of your practice area.

This clinic gives you real world experience, and I am so grateful for that. Once you are assigned to your client, you are given the reigns! I felt like a real attorney.
