Alumni Spotlight: Aram Megerian, Esq. '95

4/1/2026

For Aram Megerian, giving back to the next generation of trial lawyers is a professional courtesy and a long-term commitment. As an accomplished attorney with Cole, Scott & Kissane (CSK), Megerian has actively supported the Delaware Law School Trial Advocacy program, helping to shape immersive, practice-ready learning opportunities for students.

That commitment was on full display during a recent visit to CSK's West Palm Beach offices, where Aram played a central role in hosting members of the Widener Moe Levine Trial Team. The multi-day experience combined mentorship, skills development, and real-world exposure to litigation practice. From welcoming students during an opening meet-and-greet to facilitating meaningful connections with attorneys across the firm, Aram ensured that each moment was both instructive and inspiring.

A highlight of the visit was a three-hour trial competition between Widener students and CSK's first-year associates. Serving as a judge, Aram not only evaluated the proceedings but also provided detailed and constructive feedback, offering students a rare opportunity to learn directly from a seasoned litigator. His encouragement and praise, particularly for standout advocacy moments, underscored his investment in student growth and confidence.

Beyond the courtroom exercise, Aram helped coordinate programming that showcased the depth and breadth of legal practice of CSK. Students engaged in panel discussions with both senior partners and younger associates, gaining candid insights into career paths, professional development, and the realities of legal practice. These sessions reflected Aram's vision of bridging academic training with practice experience.

Aram Megerian's ongoing partnership with Widener also extends to the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP), where he and his colleagues contribute as faculty, helping students refine the critical skills needed for courtroom success. Through his leadership and sustained engagement, Aram Megerian exemplifies the impact alumni can have in elevating legal education.
