Instructional Media Services

The use of Instructional Media Services resources in support of Law School academic functions commands priority over support for special non-academic events.

IMS Provides the following facilities and services:

• Maintenance and Support for the equipment in the Technology-Enhanced Classrooms (Smart Classrooms) throughout the law school
• Classroom Problem Report Form
• Borrowing Equipment
• Event Planning
• Live webcasts
• Media Conversion
• Printing/laminating
• Video Production
• Video Conferencing
• Recording classes and
• Special lectures and Events

In order to provide all of our community members with the resources they require, IMS requires that all service requests be made at least one week prior to date of the event and that all changes in requests be made 24 hours in advance of the event date.

To reserve equipment or request media services, please fill out the IMS Request Form for all services and equipment.

To report a problem with any of the classroom equipment please fill out the Classrooom Problem Report Form. 

Failure to request services at least one week in advance may hinder IMS’s ability to properly support an event.

For special events, IMS highly recommends scheduling an on-site planning session or 'walk-through' meeting.  These meetings are designed to allow for the proper allocation of equipment and services for each event.  A walk-through should be scheduled at least one week in advance of any such event so that any issues or changes to the request can be implemented in a timely fashion.
