What inspires me to teach?

As a first-generation college and law school graduate, I am inspired by the varied paths students take on their way to our classrooms and offices.  I enjoy getting to know my students as we navigate our cases together, and I find the mentorship aspect of my job to be as fulfilling as the work we are doing for our veteran clients.  Clinical legal education is the best of both worlds--providing pro bono legal representation to an inspiring population and guiding law students on their path toward lawyering and becoming our colleagues.
