Credential Evaluation

Credential Evaluation

International applicants shall submit official transcripts from all college/university post-secondary institutions. A course-by-course credential evaluation completed by a NACES-certified organization is required. Applicants are required to submit course-by-course credit evaluations for any schools outside the United States regardless of whether they are in English or not. (Recommended report: WES ICAP course-by course credential evaluation report).

The WES process:

Applicants must complete the online application and submit their documents as outlined on our Required Documents page. Official documents must be received either by mail in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution or through one of our over 10,000 secure digital partnerships. All reports are completed using official documents and verification method is indicated on the report. Once documents are received, the file moves to the authentication stage where the document is reviewed for authenticity and once approved moves to the evaluation stage. Applicants can add an organization as a recipient to their report, which allows us to share the report directly with that organization and provides consent that we can share details of their file.

Required Documents

The Required Documents is an essential step for applicants to learn which documents are required to complete their application and how those documents must be submitted. WES does not accept unofficial or applicant owned documents for evaluation.

International Credential Advantage Package (ICAP): Course-by-Course ICAP report (Cost: $225)

By adding this additional service, WES will send a copy of the authenticated copy of the transcripts to the recipients on file along with the completed credential evaluation report.
