Jordan Strokovsky: A Distinguished Advocate for the Injured

7/23/2024

Jordan Strokovsky, an esteemed graduate of Widener University Delaware Law School, has made a significant mark in the legal field as a trial lawyer and founder of Strokovsky LLC. His practice focuses on representing clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries in a variety of complex cases, including medical malpractice, birth injuries, truck and plane accidents, explosions, premises liability, product liability, civil rights violations, and sexual assault.

Known for his relentless pursuit of justice, Jordan takes great pride in uncovering cover-ups, fraud, and reckless behavior in the cases he litigates. His dedication, integrity, and empathy have not only earned him the trust of his clients but also the respect of his legal adversaries. These qualities have been instrumental in securing substantial verdicts and settlements, making him a sought-after co-counsel for serious injury and wrongful death cases.

One of Jordan’s most notable accomplishments is a recent $25.9 million verdict in a medical malpractice case involving the amputation of his client's leg. This verdict, one of the largest for such a case in Pennsylvania and among the highest nationwide for the loss of a leg, was upheld, with an additional $4.4 million added for delay damages and post-judgment interest. The hospital, which did not appeal the verdict, paid the full amount and implemented systemic reforms as a result of the case, setting a precedent that will benefit future medical malpractice victims.

Jordan graduated as valedictorian from Delaware Law School. During his time there, he interned with three Philadelphia judges: the Honorable M. Faith Angell (E.D. Pa), the Honorable Arnold L. New (Common Pleas), and the Honorable Paul P. Panepinto (Common Pleas), and served on the Law Review. He further advanced his legal education by earning a Master of Laws in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2018, where he was recognized for his trial skills and received top scores from juries at his showcase trial.

In addition to his practice, Jordan has been actively involved in the Philadelphia Bar Association, where he formerly co-chaired the State Civil Litigation Section and now co-chairs the Civil Rules and Mentorship Committees. His efforts during the pandemic to facilitate communication between the Court and the legal community through town halls were particularly impactful. Jordan also serves as an adjunct professor and speaks at seminars for personal injury lawyers.

Jordan’s recent recognition in the Power Players category at the Pennsylvania Legal Awards, organized by *The Legal Intelligencer*, highlights his significant influence, leadership, and contributions to the legal profession in Pennsylvania. This award celebrates his outstanding achievements and his dedication to making a difference in the legal landscape.

Jordan's journey from a quiet law student to a leading trial lawyer exemplifies his determination to advocate for those who need it most. His commitment to standing up against powerful entities and his unwavering dedication to justice continue to inspire and make a profound impact in the legal community.
